I obtained a BTEC in Nursery Nursing in 1996 and almost immediately started working for Wendy as a childminder.

I worked in the Preschool and after three years was made Room Supervisor. In 2010, I took over running Afterschool Club. I also drive the minibus taking the children to and from school.

I am married with a 15 year old son. I enjoy playing darts and represent Somerset in the Inter County League, travelling all over the country. I like cooking and sometimes bring in an odd treat.

Sarah Lloyd

Keyworker (Maternity Leave)

I left college with an HDN in Early Childhood Studies. A family friend suggested contacting Wendy to see if there were any vacancies and I was offered a job and started at Yew Trees in September 2003 as a Key worker in the Pre-School. I worked up to a Supervisor role before falling pregnant with my little boy and going on maternity leave.

I returned to work and had the opportunity to work in the Toddler Room as well as the Pre-School. I now work four days a week in my original role as Key Worker in the Pre-School
My partner is in the Royal Marines and we enjoy family time at the weekends on days out and walks.
